WorkBC Hazelton offers wage subsidy services for eligible employers. These programs may reimburse participating employers a portion of wage costs, which is designed to offset the costs of training a new employee that would not otherwise be hired.
Employers may receive a reimbursement of up to 50% of wage costs, depending on the degree of complexity of the job in relation to the client’s skill and ability to perform it.

As well, B.C.’s Training Tax Credit Program gives tax credits to employers and apprentices who are in eligible apprenticeship programs.
